DESCRIPTION

Tidy Care Alert helps you monitor your cat's health, using colour-changing crystals to measure urine pH and alert you to potential health concerns. These cat-safe crystals are highly absorbent and non-clumping - just remove solids and stir the litter daily to ensure maximum absorption and odour control. Simplify litter care and keep an eye on your beloved cats health with Tidy Care Alert.

Features:

Colour-changing crystals show you when your cat's urine pH is normal or outside of normal range, alerting you to potential health concerns.

Highly absorbent crystals absorb moisture on contact and provide lasting ammonia odour control for a clean-smelling home.

Alert is non-clumping, so there are no urine clumps to scoop. Just remove solids and stir the litter daily for easy, optimal performance.

Alert packs a ton of performance into every bag, making it easy to carry, pour and store, all with low dust.

Material: Made with cat-safe selica gel.
Environment Type: Litter Box
Species: Cat
Clumping/Non-Clumping: Non-Clumping
Package Weight: 3.63 kg
Instructions for Use:
1. Start with a clean box. Fill with 2 to 3 Inches of Alert. 2. Within 2 hours of use, compare litter crystals to colour guide. 3. Keep observing the colour, since it can vary naturally throughout the day, particularly 1 to 2 hours after eating. After 5 days, determine the most common colour within the normal range. This is your baseline. Note: If the colour remains outside of the normal range, call your veterinarian.

Continuing Use:
1. Scoop solids dally to ensure optimal absorbency. (No urine clumps means easy maintenance!) 2. Stir frequently, adding Alert as needed to maintain 2 to 3 inch depth. 3. After 20 to 30 days (for one cat), dispose of used litter, wash box using mild detergent, dry, and refill with 2 to 3 inches of Alert litter. Note: Cleaningbox with bleach or adding baking soda deodorizer can alter colour results.

Reading Your Results:
Once you've established a baseline colour for your cat, monitor the litter box daily. If you see a colour that is consistently outside the normal range-and it persists for more than two days - it is time to call your veterinarian to discuss next steps.

Normal:
A range from yellow to olive green is most typical. (Within 1-2 hours after eating the colour may appear more blue/dark green but should return to your cat's baseline colour.).

Acidity:
Deep yellow/orange means acidic urine, which may be associated with potential metabolic acidosis or kidney tubular acidosis.

Alkalinity:
Blue/dark green means alkaline urine, which may be associated with a potential urinary tract infection or elevated risk of struvite stone formation.

Blood:
Red shows a presence of blood, which may indicate serious health concerns. We recommend contacting your veterinarian immediately. This litter is not intended to diagnose, cure, prevent, treat, or mitigate disease. Discuss colour changes with your veterinarian.

For Multi-Cat Households:
If a colour change persists, we recommend isolating each cat in your home with Alert litter to determine which cat is experiencing a change in urine pH.
