Gouramis are hardy fish that are popular with fish keepers because of their unique coloration and color patterns. They work best in a semi-aggressive community aquarium. They are compatible with other community fish, as well as angelfish, discus and other non-aggressive cichlids. Remember, only one male gourami per community. You will see your gouramis swimming in the middle and at the top of your aquarium. To create a beautiful aquarium environment, be sure to add some bottom swimmers as well.
