Arcadia EarthPro-Optimised52 is a brand new, vet checked, all-natural way of feeding tortoises, developed to replicate wild feeding by only using natural ingredients. We use no non-natural fillers such as seed husks, nut shells, Maize, soya and flours which are all too common in prepared Tortoise diets. A wild diet of this type is very high in fibre, low in protein, sodium and fats. Natural geophagy is also a vital supplier of essential minerals and vitamins, mostly from the B group.If we wish to see our companion Tortoises live a long and fruitful life it is essential that we feed them correctly. Fillers such a nut shells, husks and middling's offer no nutritional value of note and are used as a very cheap source of Fibre. This is a seasonal grow and plant species found in our mix through the seasons can actually reach 60 grasses and herbs per mix. To this base mix of whole plant nutrition, we add a further 10 species of plant matter which include leavesfrom strawberry, blackberry and raspberry plants. Plantain, nettle, dandelions, marigolds and roses are also added into the mix. In this way we fill the nutritional requirements of Mediterranean species by using a barrage of natural ingredients, many of which are found in the wild habitats of these incredible species.

This product has been specifically developed with Mediterranean species in mind. It consists of an average minimum grass and herb mix comprising 52 EU grown species, as well as additional flowers, petals, and whole leaf plants.

Unlike other options in the market, our product does not include chinchilla dust to dry out the digestive tract.

It can constitute up to 70% of the total diet, and seasonal fresh salads, flowers, weeds, and herbs can be added as they become available.

Our formula is carefully pressed into a mix, ensuring its integrity, rather than being a baked extruded pellet.

FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS
12 - 14 teaspoons of water are added per tile. Allow thewater to soak in, until the tile is fully hydrated. Mix and serve. Per single animal >400g in body weight 1 tile per day, 40-800g 2 tiles per day, 900g+ 3 tiles.
