About this item
Instructions: NEVER use tap water to clean filter media as this will kill the beneficial bacteria that helps keep your water healthy. Rinse in a bucket with water taken from your aquarium. To ensure constant presence of beneficial bacteria, do not replace all filtration media at the same time. For best results, replace 1-2 filter cartridges every 2-4 weeks.
Caution: NEVER use soap or detergents, as traces of cleaning products will harm aquatic life.
