It took some time for my 2 budgies to acknowledge the presence of this toy, but they now love it. It was placed so that the hoops at the top were level with one of their perches. They started by chewing on the threaded tails and ignoring the hanging loops. Maybe 1.5 weeks passed before I added a second perch at the level of the hanging loops, and they started to hang and weave inside and out of the loops. There happened to be a third branched perch below the toy and they def use the loops more often when a perch is below so they have something to reach for when upside down. I've never seen them use the top layer of loops next to the thread tails or bother with the beads/shells. Have used this toy on and off for the last 6 months and got a second one as back up just in case it stops being sold.
One star off bc I was initially concerned that the woven material would come undone or catch their tiny nails, but they don't grab the loops in a way that's conducive to that (so far). I tried a similar toy made of plastic interlocking loops and it is not used with the same zeal as this one. They love this toy!

Fun toy for the birds to climb through the rings and with happy colours to keep them buisy.

My parrotlets don't really use this as a toy so much as a swing. They sit on the top bar and swing it. I have yet to see them pay any attention to the rings and ropes hanging from it

My cocaktiel Ricky absolutely loved this toy soo much!
The hoops are easy enough for him to chew but hard enough that it lasts a long time in his cage. It's such a great chew toy, that when it was time to throw it out, I took off some of the parts and he still has so much fun chewing on the pieces!
*Just be cautious when your bird has broken the hoop in half, because it's feet can get stuck*
Great for cockatiels, a perfect size!
