Rated 1 out of 5 by CuteNFuzzyRoboHammys Definitely Recycled Bedding
Last year, I was in PetSmart to get some bedding for my past Syrian hamster Pumpkin. I noticed this and thought I'd try it out since it was much cheaper than the 60L bags of care fresh I usually got. I scooped some out and put it in his cage when I noticed that there was more than recycled paper in this bedding. I found bits of bottle caps, tinfoil, and kleenex in it. Since it's recycled bedding, the kleenex was obviously recycled too, which is absolutely disgusting. The bedding was also in small, hard pieces which I doubt would be comfortable to sleep on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Djjj BUYER BEWARE, Good Stuff Has Cons.
After using half a big bag... With 5 peeaholic male rats.
- Best oder control I've had for my rats.
- Zeolite does not seem to effect them
- Lasts a very long time (4-5 days) if you pick out poo and wet spots daily, litter boxes included, this is in a cage big enough for 6 rats with just enough to keep the floors covered. (more down below about extra cheap odor control help).
- One of the least dusty bedding I've used.
- Very Absorbant
- Easy to use bag
- Has a little bit of strange small hard plastic like bits throughout the bag.
- As you get farther down into the bag it gets dustier and dustier
- Price (this is obviously ground up cardboard they probably got for free, however I don't know if the Zeolite or the process they put it through makes this stuff so expensive).
Conclusion: NO bedding is remotely less than 70% dust free, this is because either the bedding ages on the shelf and gets dusty, because it's over processed OR because like this bag any dust falls towards the bottom of the bag. Always always ALWAYS sift a rats bedding no matter what, sifters are cheap, a full bag can take up to an hour but you can watch stuff while doing it and your rat will be internally grateful and not only might they live longer!
MORE Tips on Oder Control: fill a water bottle with 4 oz and pour in half a lid full of vinegar (I use braggs OACV), shake well and spray any bedding damp with this, it should dry within 10 mins tops. Spray enough to lightly soak any fabrics in their cage with this mixture. Do this every day and you will get this bedding lasting as long as I do. The goal is to make the environment too acidic for any smelly bacteria to survive. Any more or less rats with a smaller or bigger cage will need adjustments for how much and how often this mixture is used. Enjoy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by s0fa Best litter for my rabbit
This is the best litter as it's really absorbent and really helps to eliminate odor. It even makes my rabbit's area smell better. While this is expensive, I like to add a thin layer on top of a bed of shredded paper, focusing more on the corners of her litter box where she usually does her business. Then every morning, I add a thin layer to those areas to cover any smell. Really does the job and a little goes a long way. I also love supporting Nat Geo, great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Piggymommy2 My piggies love it!
I started buying this when our PetSmart store in our area starting selling it. The natural color is the best for my piggies. There is way less dust this brand overall. I have found that other brands just have way too much dust. I have older pigs and they do not need any extra dust if at all possible. It costs a bit more but overall I totally recommend it for anyone who has piggies. Emily (rip) now Serenity and Snowflake all love this! I won't use another brand of bedding if I can at all help it.
