Very good fish tank I had a 40 gallon breeder and 30 gallon and 20 gallon tank and decided to get 75 gallon fish tank because if u have ever heard the bigger the tank the easier well see its true complaints tank ok lights very bright and sealing ok the problem is not to good at sealing the tank kinda sloppy but no leaks I would personally recommend the one that comes with glass canopy BC if u plan on putting extra filtration on the back the plastic hood will only have enough room for 1 filter the glass hood is running emperor 400 and aqua tech 30-60 so I would get that and a few more things the aqua clear 110 does not fit right on the back BC of the large bracings on the 75 gallon tank VERy good tank very heavy and is a 4foot tank very spacious and very wide

Rated 5 out of 5 by GC100000 I've had this tank set up since the 4th of July. I love it! I bought a Marineland 75g before this one & I wish that I would've just bought 2 of these instead. I saw some questionable reviews that kept me from buying this one initially so I paid a lot more for the Marineland set up. I read reviews about issues with flooding & issues with potential greenish tint in the glass. I'm not saying that these couldn't have been issues for some purchasers but, neither have been an issue for mine. I'd buy this one again, & probably will eventually.

This is perfect if you need to upgrade from a 55 gallon or smaller tank, and you are on a budget. No, it is not perfect by any means, but it is 75 gallon aquarium, lids, and light, for roughly $200 out the door. You can have a basic aquarium setup and cycling for under $300.
The construction of the tank is your basic panes of glass that is held together by plastic top and bottom bezels, and some clear silicone. The panes are roughly 3/8" thick. The quality of the glass is decent, not perfect. Yes, there is a slight green tint to the edges if you look at it at an angle. The silicone used is of a clear color. It is not the cleanest silicone job that I have seen, but it also is not the worst. I used a sharp razor blade to clean up the excess. The corners are not perfect. Some parts line up fine while others are off slightly. The bezel trims are of a thick black sturdy plastic. The bottom bezel seems to be in there pretty straight. As for the top, it dips down about 1/8" in the middle. When filled, the tank grew on top about 1/8" from front to back. The light hood consists of a single T8 bulb with its own black enclosure and sits right on top. There is a switch for turning it on and off. The light I received would randomly turn itself off when bumped. Problem was fixed by fixing the contact plates that complete the circuit to the bulb.
Overall this is a great purchase. Not perfect, but still a good deal for the price.

I purchased the Top Fin 75 gal. hooded aquarium 5 weeks ago. I have been cycling the tank during that time. The night before I was to introduce Momo to her new home I noticed the glass was pushed out almost 1/8 of an inch at one end from the weight of the water and gravel. In fact all the corners are distorted to some extent. I will return to Pet Smart tomorrow and I EXPECT A REPLACEMENT. I also purchased three, 20lb bags of gravel and the coating is flaking off. You get what you pay for. I will buy the Con Agra rock from this point on. I will not purchase anymore Top Fin products.
