Rated 5 out of 5 by Kooder Great small tank!!!
I got the 1.2 gallon tank 6 months ago for a Beta. He loves it and it works great!!! The light is cool at night and the filter keeps the water crystal clear. I put some tall plastic plants in for him to sleep on.

#1, True, the wispy water flow is not natural to the betta. Bettas are built for quiet waters.
#2, The tank is great for a few danios, or darting type fish, who naturally survive in moving water. My grandkids love watching the lively behavior.
#3, The intake is long; however, I don't use typical gravel, but rather small rocks to provide a more natural setting. They can easily be positioned as needed around the bottom of the intake.
Also, I have one for my pair of crawdads. The rocky terrain and wild stream-like water movement is perfect.

The tank itself looks fantastic but the filter is way too big for my betta. It will push your fish around and is just too stressful for them. The filter also makes odd noises when it's on. The light feature is nice but it's not something I suggest to anyone.

The 1.2 gallon fish tank is not big enough for the filter provided with it. The filter creates a current that pushes the fish around.
