Rated 1 out of 5 by GoPens89 This scoop is terrible. I got it after the cheap one I had broke after 2 years. This one is more durable, but it would be a better use of money to keep re-purchasing the cheap one.
The teeth on the edge of the scoop make it hard to dig into the litter. Something about the shape makes it hard to actually pick up waste. And I thought the long handle would be nice but it is totally unusable unless I am gripping it from the very bottom. Would not recommend. Going back to purchase the cheap $3 scoop today.

After a back injury, I had to scoop while sitting in a chair. I found this scoop to be just the right length and angle to get the job done. Sturdy and efficient.

I have 8 cats (inside/outside) yet because they come inside I have several litter boxes for their convenience. I scoop daily as part of my kitty maintenance. I love the length of the handle, the holes in the scoop are a perfect size thus making my chore as easy as possible. I have been through many scoops, but I like this one the best. I have had the handles break where the plastic meets the rubber handle, yet I keep buying (2nd year purchase)!
**FYI: If any of you are looking for a great litter box idea... use a plastic *18gal Sterilite container* w/ a small hole cut in the lid. Best litter box I've ever used hands down!!!

I recently purchased this scoop at a Petsmart store. It broke in half after one week of regular use. I've bought cheaper scoops that were more durable. I recommend save yourself the hassle and buy a metal scoop.
