My puppy loves this toy. I fill it up with small treats (treats about the size of dimes) that make noise when it rolls or when you shake it, thus making it interesting and fun. The grooves add texture and grip for my puppy to hold on to. You can put peanut butter or that kong spray stuff in the grooves. I haven't done that yet, as I would think it would get pretty messy fast. She loves to bat it around as well.

Very durable yet pliable rubber. The opening is like a large X, not the easiest thing to find right size treat.
Not so much getting them in but for them to come out. I use the Alpo wafer type cookies once they're in I shove my finger in there to break them. So far so good and the bonus those treats are cheap :-)

I have a 40 pound female catahoula hunting dog. I left the kong filled with goodies one day and came home to find the top of the kong completely chewed up. I guess it kept her busy for one day...... but I was hoping that it would last longer.

by askaubry Didn't last 10 minutes with 2 yr old Pit Bull
I thought this toy would be good for hours of entertainment. I put peanut butter in it and 10 minutes later we had little chunks of red rubber. The DuraChew Nylabone I bought at the same time for only $4 has been chewed for weeks and is slowly wearing down. She loves it and carries it everywhere.
