I've used this litter for the past 15 years. Initially, I got it because of a "flushable" claim -- which is no longer made (and wasn't -completely- true, anyway). Since the experiment in training the cat to use the commode failed, I switched to just using it as litter -- and my cat seemed to like it quite well. It is much less dusty than most of the clay-type litters and the oder control is good if the output is well covered (not all cats do a good job there). Never had any ammonia/urine odors. I will continue to use this litter in the future. Note: small quantities in the toilet are not a problem, especially if you let them absorb a bit of water before flushing (the tiny "logs" break down to sawdust in water). The "flush danger" is if you try to put a large quantity down a drain. The litter will absorb water, expand, and thoroughly clog the drain. Only a mechanical "rooter" will remove the clog. (I won't make THAT mistake again.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by BoyMom Don't judge a litter by its low price!)
You won't be let down. I almost didn't want to try it because it was so inexpensive. Kind of crazy but kind of not at the same time. I'm the opposite of most and think that THE most expensive thing will fix my problem. I haven't had a cat in 15 years so the smell of ONE litter box was a new adjustment. I couldn't stand the smell of all the "fine litters" in town that would also leave little traces of miniature shards of granules in my feet here and there. I love the smell of an upscale Nest candle but an expensive litter??. Gag! Along came a dust free, shard free and pretty much odor free bag at $10 for a giant bag of this stuff. #1 turns to an odorless liquid that scoops right out with a miniature dustpan and you can scoop #2 out with a dustpan too instead of a slotted scoop.

I was using clumping litter for a long time, then moved to Arm & Hammers natural litter. It worked good but I still wanted natural and safe. Then I found this product on sale. Tried it, cat loved it. I wish it would clump, but it works so well, I really don't need it to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KaliCat Great Pine Litter!
I've tried some other pine litters but they got too pricing. I switched to the ExquisiCat because it was priced right and now it's my go to pine litter. It's natural which I love and really controls the odor.
