I have a 3 year old border collie/beagle mix who is a chewer and this is the only bed he hasn't been able to chew apart (he's tried).
It's sturdy and well made, it does sink but washing and refluffing it works for it.
I got lucky and found this on clearance at Petsmart a year ago and only paid $25 for it then.

Bought this bed in brown over 2 yrs ago when my rescue St Bernard mix was only about 33 lbs, to use in his 42" kennel. It was a snug but workable fit. He liked that it came up on the ends so he could rest his head on the bolster parts. Now he is about 99 lbs and still loves his bed. We've taken it out of his kennel and he curls up or stretches out on it at night. It has lost a bit of its loft, but is time to wash and re-fluff it. I am considering purchasing an additional one at this time, just to have an extra. We absolutely love everything about this Kong bed!

I saw the name "KONG" and just HAD to have this for our then 10 week old German Shepherd.. Kong is known for their toys that are made for chewers. Boy do I wish I hadn't of wasted my money. It lasted MAYBE 3 weeks if we were lucky! She ate slap through it and got into the inside of it. I was so upset that we spent so much on a bed that she was able to rip open in no time, and as a pup at that. I won'the buy this bed again for sure.

by SoCalDogDad Very Durable, Easy to Clean, and my dog loves it
We rescued a lab mix when she was approximately four months old. We bought this for her on day one, and she immediately took to it. At that point she was 27 pounds. Three months later, and now a 42lb pup, and she still loves this bed ... but at her current size we think it is time to get her a larger bed. pics of her at both weights/ages are below
Stellar as far as durability and cleanability; see below:
My dog is one of those that loves to scratch her bed, and this is holding up perfectly with no signs of damage.
Cleanability is great too. When we first got her she was yet to be potty trained, and so twice she peed on the bed. It was easy to clean the cover, and on the one time that it had soaked thru to the innner liner it was easy to remove the stuffing (which it hadn't gotten too) from the liner and wash that as well.
