Rated 5 out of 5 by Hulk I bought the 48 oz bag when I purchased my 2 guinea pigs. I couldn't be more pleased. The bag is resealable and the hay smells very fresh. Both the guinea pigs love it. Very little dust. Will continue buying this brand if each bag is as good as this one.

by SJMD Small pieces and very dusty; lots of waste
Very dusty and mostly very small pieces that my bunny leaves sitting in the holder. Not nearly the quality of KT or OB. While less expensive than the other brands, there is so much waste that it's not worth it, especially when my bunny much prefers the other brands.

I was in a jam because my regular shipment of good quality farm hay was still a week away and I ran out. So I went out to Petsmart and purchased the large size of All Living Things Timothy Hay. The hay itself seemed ok and smelled like Timothy hay, but OMG as I was pulling some out to feed to my bunnies, there were two squished, dead COCKROACHES! disgusting!!!! This has NEVER happened to me with any other brand of hay. Traumatizing!

I don't know if they've changed something about the product recently, but this is not the hay I remember. The quality is very, very low. Perhaps I have just become accustomed to other brands, but I am not at all satisfied with this hay. Nor is Nate, my rabbit. It is dusty. When I opened the bag, I was assaulted by a dust cloud so huge that I coughed. Every time I have opened the bag since I have been assaulted with the same amount of dust. My rabbit does not seem to like this brand at all, compared to other brands (such as Oxbow or Kaytee). I have had to cut costs, and find Kaytee's hay to be a bit rough. So, I thought I'd try this brand out again as I'd been pleased with it when I had gerbils. Never again. Kaytee, despite being rough, is more bang for your buck. This hay, on the other hand, is dusty, cut way too short so that it gets everywhere and is harder to sweep or vacuum up, and is not liked by my bun. The only reason it is getting two stars (opposed to one) is because it is soft. So, while I do not recommend it for feeding, it might make good nesting material for hamsters or gerbils IF you manage to get a bag that doesn't assault you with dust.
